He has led national indirect tax work on asset finance, advising major motor captive finance companies and specialist leasing businesses, and worked with a range of banking, real estate, private equity and deals clients on complex transactional and operational VAT matters.

Matt Meadows, Managing Partner at Moore Kingston Smith said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Mark to the team. He brings nearly 25 years of larger firm experience to further build out our boutique-style VAT offering, helping clients of all sizes navigate the complex VAT issues they face.”

Mark Treacher, Partner at Moore Kingston Smith said: “After almost 25 years with my previous firm, my next move had to be for the right opportunity, and I see real potential here at Moore Kingston Smith. Throughout the recruitment process, there’s been a sense of excitement about where the firm’s headed. The emphasis on strong relationships, with clients and between colleagues, made it clear I can contribute and help develop something meaningful here.”
