Technology can only get the client so far – it is our people and their relationships that make a real difference. These promotions demonstrate the strength of our talent pipeline and our commitment to creating opportunities for our people to build long-term careers with the firm. He added: “Working closely with a variety of companies, ranging from large Insurance groups to charitable organisations, has allowed me to understand the different challenges that face HR teams in managing talent cross-border and across sectors. I enjoy working in tandem with clients in advising on the most cost effective and practical solution to manage the compliance requirements for the company as well as the employee’s personal tax affairs.”

Kugan Panchalingam, who has been promoted to Partner in UK Private Client, said: “I have been at Blick Rothenberg since 2023 and joined as Senior Manager, progressed to Director, and now Partner.”

He added: “I specialise in advising ultra-high net worth individuals and families, predominately those from overseas who have relocated to the UK. I also look after, work with, and advise their trustees, legal counsel, intermediaries, bankers, family offices etc. This particular client base has gone through dramatic changes due to the abolishment of the non-dom rules, which had existed for c.200 years in the UK. As a Partner, I am passionate about helping clients navigate the ever-evolving landscape of UK tax law and the cross-border complexities that arise in an increasingly global world.”
