Rodrigo Hernández joins Mazars Chile as Lead Partner for Tax
After 10 years in Chile, Mazars has welcomed four new leaders who will be joining its management team: Rubén López and Juan Pablo Hess, both former Assurance partners of EY Chile, Rodrigo Hernández, former Tax partner of PwC Chile and Oriane Marraud des Grottes, former General Manager of Newrest in Chile.
The arrival of the four professionals -which took place on September 1- is aimed at strengthening the audit, tax, consulting and outsourcing services, with a focus on developing large and medium-sized enterprises in various sectors of the economy. Currently, the Mazars office in Chile counts 150 professionals, led by Damien de La Panouse.
Rodrigo Hernández holds an MBA from the Adolfo Ibáñez University School of Management Miami, a Master in Tax Law from the Universidad de Chile and a Law degree from the Universidad Central. He has more than 20 years of experience advising companies, individuals and families on tax issues. He was a lead partner for the Tax Private Market area of EY and later was a Tax partner at PwC.
“The in-depth knowledge of Mazars professionals is particularly relevant in a year where changes to the tax system will be fundamental for the decisions that companies can make,” he adds.
