John Foskett recruited by RSM Bristol as Corporate Tax Partner
RSM has strengthened its Bristol offering with the appointment of John Foskett as a new corporate tax partner.
John joins RSM from Grant Thornton, prior to which he worked at a Big Four firm. In his career to date, he has built up a wealth of experience advising mid-market businesses, from entrepreneurial standalone companies to large privately-owned groups.
With over 20 years in practice, John has advised companies in a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing and engineering, retail and distribution, hotel and leisure, transport and logistics, technology and media, support services, and construction.
John typically advises cross-border on inbound business expansion into the UK and to UK groups growing overseas, working with overseas offices to implement robust tax planning and to manage day-to-day compliance requirements. This includes the US quarterly reporting requirements for US inbound groups.
John also specialises in preparing Research & Development Relief claims, maximising the tax savings available from his client’s innovative activities.
