Comp & Bens Guru joins Huron Consulting

Huron Consulting Group , a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, has announced that Judith A. Thorp has joined the Company as a managing directors focused on improving hospital client’s performance. Thorp focuses on reducing costs for hospitals in their benefits and compensation areas. She advises clients on compensation arrangements and health and welfare benefits plans. Her expertise includes Section 280G, pension plans, profit sharing plans, Section 401(k) plans, stock option plans and Section 403(b) plans. She comes to Huron from SMART where she served as an executive managing director. Thorp was also the national partner in-charge of the compensation and benefits practice at KPMG. Thorp will be based in Huron’s Chicago office.
