Rawlinson & Hunter recruits Harry Swift into it UK/US Private Client Tax team
Rawlinson & Hunter LLP has announced the appointment of Harry Swift as a Director in its UK/US Private Client Tax team, with effect from 1 April 2026.
Harry Swift, who has joined from USTAXFS, has over two decades’ worth of experience advising clients on cross-border taxation issues. Harry provides both tax advisory and compliance services, helping clients navigate the complexities of cross border personal tax issues.
His experience includes advising on the application of the UK/US Double Tax Agreement, pension planning and relocation matters. He acts for a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals, private equity partners, C-suite executives and sports professionals.
Harry is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT), and a US Enrolled Agent
Alex Jones, Partner and Head of the UK/US Private Client Tax Team, commented: “I have known Harry for many years and am delighted that he agreed to join the team. Advising our UK and US connected individuals on the complex interactions of cross-border taxation and the almost constant changes, requires an in-depth understanding of the law on both sides of the pond and years of relevant experience, all of which Harry brings to the team. Not only will Harry increase our ability to serve clients, but he will also help develop our next generation of UK/US tax professionals.”
