Psion has a new CFO: Fraser Park

 In CFO

Psion, a provider of mobile computing and wireless data collection solutions, has appointed Fraser Park as its new CFO. Mr Park replaces Bill Jessup, who has decided to step down after more than five years with the company.

Mr Park was previously CFO of Oslo-listed communications technology company Tandberg Television, a position he held until its successful disposal to Ericsson, the Swedish telecoms business. He has held similar leadership roles at Nasdaq and London-listed technology businesses.

Mr Jessup will remain with the company until March 2009, in order to facilitate a smooth handover process.

John Conoley, CEO of Psion, said: “I am delighted to welcome Fraser to Psion. With his experience of improving business profitability, he will bring a rigorous operational focus to the CFO’s role, supporting the major changes the company is embarked upon.”
