Jim Jeffs, Chairman of Max Petroleum, commented:
“Having worked with Mike Young at Whittier Energy and Chaparral Resources I have seen the tremendous contribution he has made at those two companies and have no doubt that he will be a key addition to Max Petroleum’s management team as the Company moves into its next phase of growth.”
Michael B. Young commented:
“I am extremely excited to be joining Max Petroleum at such a critical juncture in its exploration program. The formidable asset base already put together in Kazakhstan, along with the high quality of the Company’s personnel, was the key factor in my decision to join Max Petroleum as Chief Financial Officer.
