Andersen Tax promotes ten to Managing Director grade in the US
Andersen Tax has promoted several staff to Managing Director grade in the San Francisco, Seattle, West Palm Beach, New York and Boston offices.
In the San Francisco office, Mamie Chew and Stephen deHaan were promoted to Managing Director, both part of the Private Client Services group. They will join the team of 21 Managing Directors in the San Francisco office.
In the growing Seattle office the promotions include Jan Armstrong, Scott Beauchene and Lance Vanetta, part of the Private Client Services group, Valuation Services group and State and Local Tax group, respectively.
In the Boston office, Susan Delgado joins the team of eight Managing Directors. She is part of the Private Client Services group.
Sue Delgado has over 18 years of experience advising high net worth individuals, their families and closely held businesses. Her practice focuses on tax consulting and compliance services for individuals, fiduciaries and related entities. Her experience includes developing and implementing multigenerational wealth transfer plans, addressing multistate fiduciary tax issues, determination of qualified small business stock status of securities, tax issues related to individuals working abroad as well as foreign nationals working in the United States, and gifting strategies to accomplish family objectives.

Sue also served as a member of the Andersen Tax Individual Specialty Team. She has served as a member of the Manager Advisory Committee and Training Committee and continues to be involved in local office training and national training on topics such as hedge fund reporting, foreign tax credit calculation and tax impact of financial instruments.
The West Palm Beach office added Allison Davis and Patricia Cooper to its team of three Managing Directors in the Florida office. Both Allison and Patricia are part of the Private Client Services group.
Allison Davis has over 14 years of experience providing professional tax services. Her practice areas include tax consulting and compliance for corporations, pass though entities and tax exempt organizations as well as individuals. Allison has worked with companies in the insurance, professional services, construction, and real estate industries. She also has experience with trade associations, public charities, and private foundations.
“Allison and Patricia are assets to the clients we serve in our market,” noted Office Managing Director Randy Macpherson. “Allison has broad technical skills related to ultra-high net worth families and business entity work and Patricia is a technical resource for our fund entities and international matters – both of which are critical aspects of delivering superior quality of service to our clients.”
Trish Cooper has over 25 years of experience providing tax services. Her practice areas include income tax planning and tax return compliance for individuals, trusts, partnerships and closely-held business entities. Trish also works on tax planning and tax return compliance for our corporate and international clients and is a specialist with our hedge fund and “fund of funds” clients. She also has expertise in dealing with the unique issues associated with tax-exempt organizations.
In the New York Metro practice, John Maragoudakis and Adam Levy have been promoted. John is part of the Commercial Services practice, and Adam is in the Investment Consulting Services group.
John Maragoudakis has over 11 years of experience in delivering lead federal and state tax compliance and consulting solutions to a broad range of commercial clients in various industries including private equity, fund of funds, family offices, investment management, professional services, online media, restaurant chains, manufacturing, and agriculture. John specializes in partnership and corporate tax matters including general tax compliance, planning, corporate structuring/choice of entity consulting, federal and state audits, and state and local tax issues.
Adam Levy leads the Andersen Tax Investment Consulting Services practice in the New York office, providing independent and objective investment consulting and wealth management services to high net worth individuals, corporate executives and family business owners. He is a CFA Charterholder and Certified Financial Planner with over 12 years of experience advising clients on issues relating to investment consulting, financial planning and retirement planning.
