Corrs Chambers Westgarth promotes Melbourne based tax lawyer, Rhys Jewell, to partnership
Corrs Chambers Westgarth has promoted tax lawyer Rhys Jewell to the Firm’s partnership. He sits in the national Corporate, Finance & Tax group based in Melbourne.
Rhys specialises in tax issues associated with large and complex transactions and is recognised in Australia and internationally as a leading expert.
Rhys has extensive experience in infrastructure projects (public private partnerships), mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, property development and capital raisings. Throughout his career with Corrs since 2002, he has advised on significant deals for high profile clients including Foster’s, Aurizon, Amcor, Southern Cross Media, EBOS Group, the Victorian and Queensland Governments and Macquarie.

Rhys has been with Coors since 2002, when he joined the firm as a Senior Associate. Prior to this he trained in tax with Arthur Andersen.
