Michelle Quest, is Head of Tax, Pensions and Legal Services at KPMG in the UK.
Michelle originally qualified in Audit. She transferred to Tax in 1993, specialising in Corporate Tax. From 2001, Michelle specialised in providing tax advice on corporate transactions, reorganisations and reconstructions. She was part of the Private Equity team from 2003 to 2009, leading tax advisory and due diligence assignments on the acquisitions and disposals of a number of Private Equity Institutions. During that time she led both the UK Private Equity Tax practice and the M&A Tax practice in the UK and EMA. From 2010 until 2012, Michelle served on the board at KPMG in the UK as Head of People, responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of HR. Currently Michelle is leading the tax relationship with some of the firm’s most significant corporate clients, advising on tax governance, process and reporting; international business and operating models; transfer pricing and M&A.
