Women target Australian accountants for love
A sad story from Australia where KPMG partner, Bernard Salt, is launching his new book The Big Picture. Mr Salt is a demographer and his research indicates that the most eligible Australian bachelors ie straight, single and earning a decent wedge, are accountants.
The survey analysed 1.3 million men aged between 25 and 34 and after applying suitable filters there were 86,000 eligible bachelors left. Of these the largest group were accountants.
His research goes on to recommend that ladies looking for love should perhaps hang around their local accountancy firm. What he does not mention is that there may be a good reason why these guys are single !
