Glen McCoy joins Ryan & Company
Ryan & Company, America’s largest independent state & local tax consulting firm, has announced that Glenn McCoy has joined the Firm’s New York office with the title of Principal. McCoy will help the Firm expand its fast-growing multistate income tax practice.
McCoy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to joining Ryan & Company, McCoy was a partner for nine years with BDO Seidman, LLP, most recently serving as the National Partner-in-Charge of the Multistate Tax Consulting Group. Prior to BDO, he was with Price Waterhouse. He also served as the in-house State Tax Attorney and Manager of State Taxes for Kerr-McGee Corporation of Oklahoma City and was the Director of the Income Tax Division for the Oklahoma Tax Commission, Tulsa District Office.
McCoy served as the Chairman of the State & Local Income and Franchise Tax Committee for the American Petroleum Institute while at Kerr-McGee. He is a frequent lecturer on state income tax issues.
