Kenya Revenue Authority Commisioner named IMF boss

Kenya Revenue Authority Commissioner Andrew Okello has been appointed as the International Monetary Fund(IMF) regional advisor in charge of East and Central Africa on tax matters.

Mr Okello has been credited with the major tax reforms at KRA including the tax registers project. KRA Commissioner General Michael Waweru described Mr Okello as a dedicated worker, whose drive for success was unparalleled.
