Insull defects to MAS from FTC Kaplan

Neil Insull has joined MAS as Tax Training Manager. He lectures on broad range of tax areas but with a focus on taxes affecting UK corporates. This includes general tax updates and refreshers for accountants and lawyers to more detailed courses providing comprehensive analysis of specific areas of the tax code.

Neil trained as an accountant and qualified with Spicer & Oppenheim (now Deloitte) in 1990. But with a passion for tax, he then spent the next 15 years specialising in corporate tax, the last eight working for the in-house tax departments of two large financial services groups in the City.

Neil `’escaped” from the City in 2005 and joined FTC Kaplan for a year to cut his teeth on a new training career in tax before joining MAS to focus on CPD training.

Based in London, but serving clients throughout the UK and in some instances worldwide, MAS grew out of MacIntyre Hudson LLP’s in-house training facility. It was established as a business in its own right in 1988. Today, the client base consists primarily of professional service firms, including the majority of the top 100 UK law firms and many accountancy practices.
