Legendary Tax Recruiter Hangs up his Boots….

Hot off the press. Matthew Phelps, legendary tax recruiter at Brewer Morris in the UK, has resigned. Matthew is a partner with the firm (part of The SR Group) and has spent the last 19 years recruiting tax professionals, primarily Heads of Tax for multinationals.

Matthew has decided to retire from the tax recruitment world and intends to take a well-earned rest. Commenting on his departure Matthew says “I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the brightest and best in the marketplace and, despite the economic rollercoaster that we ride, have enjoyed myself enormously. In 1988 there were four of us in a small room on Fleet Street – today we have 4 UK offices, 3 overseas offices and over 100 fee earners. I wish my Partners and colleagues every success for the future and am delighted to be leaving Brewer Morris in very good hands.”
