Ryan & Co hires Linda Falcone to launch Charlotte office
Ryan & Company, North America’s largest independent state & local tax consulting firm, continues its steady expansion with the opening of a new office in Charlotte, North Carolina. The office will be under the direction of Linda A. Falcone, who serves on the Board of Governors of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT).
Linda has served on the board of the IPT since June 2005 and has been active in the organization for the past fifteen years. She holds the Certified Member of Institute (CMI) designation for sales tax accreditation. The Institute, through its CMI designation program, recognizes professional achievement in sales and use taxation. The designation is widely known as a mark of achievement and distinction in the sales and use tax field.
Ms. Falcone began her career with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. She later held senior positions for major corporations, including Nissan Motor Corporation, Northwest Airlines, and Western Airlines and served as a Consultant to Fortune 1000 corporations for a major accounting firm. Falcone has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine, and a Master of Business Administration degree with emphasis in accounting and finance from California State University, Fullerton.
