Theodor van Stephoudt launches Swiss TP practice for Duff & Phelps
Duff & Phelps, one of the world’sleading independent financial advisory firms, has announced the opening of a new office in Zurich, Switzerland, as part of its continued European expansion. The Zurich office will concentrate on providing financial advisory services including transfer pricing and financial reporting and
tax valuation to companies across a variety of industries.
Theodor van Stephoudt has joined the firm as a Managing Director to open and lead the Zurich office. He has more than 15 years of experience in advising clients on various aspects of transfer pricing policies, with a particular emphasis on transfer pricing planning and implementation. Mr. van Stephoudt will also spend part of his time in the Munich office, which will enable him to serve clients in both the Swiss and German markets.
Mr. van Stephoudt joins Duff & Phelps from KPMG Fides, where he established and led the transfer pricing services practice in Switzerland as a partner. While at KPMG Fides, he was responsible for establishing client relationships and advised major multinational clients throughout Switzerland on a variety of transfer pricing issues.
Prior to this, Mr. van Stephoudt held senior positions with A.T. Kearney, Inc., KPMG LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in the United States. Mr. van Stephoudt is from Germany and graduated with an M.B.A. from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College. He received his Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mining Engineering from the Technical University of Aachen in Aachen, Germany. He has actively presented at many tax and transfer pricing forums and has been published numerous times on various transfer pricing topics.
