Head of Tax & Treasury at Wyeth, Mary Wold, is promoted
Wyeth announced yesterday the promotion of Mary Katherine Wold, 54, as Senior Vice President, Finance, Wyeth. She will report to Greg Norden, Wyeth’s new Chief Financial Officer.
Ms. Wold joined Wyeth as Vice President, Taxes in 2002 with responsibility for the Corporation’s worldwide tax matters. In 2005, she assumed the position of Senior Vice President – Tax and Treasury. Prior to joining Wyeth, Ms. Wold was a partner in the New York law firm of Shearman & Sterling beginning in 1988 and was the head of its worldwide tax practice group from 1995 through 2000.
Ms. Wold earned an undergraduate degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn., where she was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
