Oostvogels Pfister Roemers changes name to recognise Head of Tax
Oostvogels Pfister Roemers announces that it has changed its name to Oostvogels Pfister Feyten with immediate effect. This follows some internal changes that have taken place within the firm.
Partner, Frederic Feyten who joined the firm in 2006 and who is renowned for his experience in international taxation will now be represented in the firm’s name going forwards and will continue to head the Tax Department. This development follows the departure of Charles Roemers who co-led this Department and of Jean-Francois Trapp who have both left to initiate a separate project outside of the firm’s existing practice. Following a mutual agreement between Oostvogels Pfister Feyten and Charles and Jean-Francois, a new law firm, ‘Roemers & Trapp’ has been established and will also provide advice and assistance in Luxembourg law.
Stef Oostvogels, Managing Partner, said, “Frederic has a wealth of experience in Tax and represented the right partner to be reflected in the new name, especially as this is one of our core areas of expertise and we have always felt it appropriate to highlight this within our branding. We are, of course, sad that Charles and Jean-Francois have decided to leave, however we understand their desire to initiate a separate project outside the strategy of our firm. We wish them the best of success and acknowledge the great contributions they have made to our firm”.
Oostvogels Pfister Feyten continues to focus on expanding and developing its legal practice. Today, the firm provides Luxembourg legal and tax services to a top tier clientele and encompasses a team of over 90 professionals (including over 50 fee earners) working across both the Luxembourg and London offices.
