Rothschild taps Andrew Penny from Speechly’s
Rothschild Private Banking and Trust has appointed Andrew Penney, a specialist international tax and trust lawyer, as a Managing Director and head of the Trust business’ London office. Mr Penney’s role will focus on building and developing the relationships with Rothschild Trust’s major international clients, as well as new client acquisition.
Mr Penney joins Rothschild from leading law firm Speechly Bircham, where he was a partner in the private client practice. Before joining Speechly Bircham in 2001, Mr Penney worked at Rothschild Trust for six years.

His areas of expertise include structuring the affairs of clients moving between jurisdictions; estate planning for Americans living in the UK; and advising families whose wealth derives from private equity, hedge funds, media, fashion and property. He has experience working with clients from Latin America, Russia, Eastern Europe and India.
