DLA Piper has announced the appointment of Philippe de Guyenro as a partner to its Tax practice. Philippe’s appointment is in line with DLA Piper’s growth strategy in France and will see him working closely with Corporate Location Head, Fabrice Rue.
Philippe joins DLA Piper from Landwell, where he was a partner for over six years. He specialises in tax, with particular expertise in international tax planning, M&As and corporate restructurings. On a broad range of tax issues, Philippe regularly advises international organisations and investment funds (particularly those in the real estate sector) with tax planning.
Commenting on Philippe’s appointment, Fabrice Rue, said: “We are thrilled that Philippe de Guyenro chose to join us and strengthen our tax practice. He will help me further expand the team so we can meet our client’s increasing needs.
“Philippe’s appointment is part of our expansion strategy for the Paris office and follows the arrival of banking and finance partners, Veronique Collin and Clotilde Dirnat, last November. He will be a valuable addition to the team.”
