Miller Thomson Senior Tax Partner elected Chairman

The Partners of Canadian Law Firm, Miller Thomson LLP, have announced that Gerald D. Courage has been elected Chairman of the firm.

Bringing more than 30 years of legal and management experience to his new role, Gerald D. Courage will lead Miller Thomson through its next stage of growth, building on the professional excellence, high service standards and collegial culture for which the firm has become known. Gerald is a Senior Tax Partner in the Toronto office and, until recently, served as the Chairman of the National Taxation Group. Gerald has a Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. He is a graduate of Queen’sUniversity Law School and earned his LL.M at Harvard Law School. He advises clients, both domestic and international, on corporateincome tax issues and frequently writes and speaks on Canadian taxation law and tax-related matters.
