Helen Spice is the new CFO of KPMG Global
KPMG has announced that Helen Spice, 44, has been named chief financial officer of KPMG International, effective immediately, according to an announcement by Timothy P. Flynn, Chairman, KPMG International.
In her new role, Spice will report to Michael P. Wareing, Chief Executive Officer, KPMG International.
“Helen Spice is uniquely qualified for the role of global CFO combining excellent judgment and interpersonal skills with 23 years of relevant business experience in the firm,” Flynn said. “Helen started in KPMG’s UK firm, moved to a senior role in the EMA region, and most recently worked at KPMG International where she worked as part of international leadership to develop and implement global strategic initiatives.”
In the CFO role, Spice will be relocating shortly to Toronto from London, where she will join a growing team of KPMG partners and professionals from Finance, IT, Marketing, and Learning and Development at KPMG’s International Resource Center in that city.
Spice joined KPMG in the UK in 1985, after obtaining a BSc (Hons) Mathematics from the University of York. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK).
