Moore Stephens in Brisbane announces that Eileen Duncan is new head of Tax
Moore Stephens in Brisbane recently announced the appointment of Eileen Duncan who will head its Tax Division.
Mr Kevin Blinco, The Chairman of Moore Stephens in Brisbane, said Mrs Duncan’s appointment was central to the growth of the firm’s Tax Division. “Nationally, Moore Stephens is very strong in tax,” Mr Blinco said. “Eileen’s appointment means Moore Stephens in Brisbane can more effectively leverage off the national tax resources and expertise in the Moore Stephens network while building a leading local centre of
excellence.”
Mr Stephen Adrian, Moore Stephens’ national Head of Tax said Mrs Duncan’s local and extensive overseas experience was an excellent fit with the existing skills, knowledge and experience already in the network.
“Eileen brings to Moore Stephens the unique experience of developing and turning around tax practices in developing economies such as Kazakhstan and Zambia coupled with high-level experience in the United Kingdom and Australia,” he said. “Her appointment is a coup for Moore Stephens in Brisbane and, indeed, for the Moore Stephens network in Australia.”
Mrs Duncan said she was looking forward to the opportunity to lead, develop and grow the Tax Division at Moore Stephens in Brisbane as well contribute to the national and international activities of the Moore Stephens Australia and International networks.

Mrs Duncan joins Moore Stephens in Brisbane from a senior position in the Business and Revenue Group of McCullough Robertson, a leading Brisbane full-service legal firm. Prior to this she worked in a number of senior taxation roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, Kazakhstan and Zambia.
