The two other partners are Paddy Behan, previously head of indirect taxes at Mercury and formerly of Grant Thornton, and Vaughn Chown who is a long-standing VAT specialist at Vantis.
Roy Faichney, Group Head of Tax at Vantis, comments: “This represents a significant development for Vantis, and is integral to the Group’s strategy of becoming one of the UK’s top ten VAT advisers.”
Gerry, Head of VAT Services at Vantis, says: “We are delighted with this move which firmly establishes Vantis as one of the leaders in VAT services within the UK.”
“Paddy is a renowned practitioner and well known commentator on VAT issues, and the new team’s skills and experience combined with Vantis’ successful track record in this field promises to provide an outstanding service to clients.”
The move is also very timely, as Gerry adds: “During this difficult period when businesses are putting their costs under even greater scrutiny, VAT is an increasingly important area.”
