Howard Kennedy hires former Osborne Clarke tax partner
Howard Kennedy today announces the newest hire for its Tax Department with the appointment of[private] Senior Associate, Stuart Long.
Before joining Howard Kennedy, Stuart Long was a Partner at Osborne Clarke, where he headed the London office Corporate Tax team. Stuart has extensive experience of providing clients with tax advice on the likes of complex corporate and corporate finance transactions, international transactions and restructurings, MBOs/MBIs/LBOs, PFI and public sector projects, VAT arrangements, Stamp Duty and SDRT issues. His clients range from high net worth individuals to large international organisations.
Stuart’s experience also extends to advising clients on the setting up of businesses in the UK, including on employment tax issues; advising individuals immigrating and emigrating to and from the UK; advising on private and public company share and asset purchase and disposals; setting up and advising on various unapproved share option and incentive schemes; and Venture Capital Trust relief for investor companies.
Stuart’s arrival at Howard Kennedy follows the arrival of Bo Kehinde, who re-joined the firm as a Senior Tax Partner in December last year.
