Elizabeth Small joins Forsters to lead real estate & corporate tax
Elizabeth Small joins Forsters today as a partner specialising in real estate and corporate tax. Elizabeth, previously a [private] tax partner at Halliwells, becomes Forsters’ 37th partner. She joins the firm a matter of weeks after the recent appointment of offshore tax partner, Kelly Noel-Smith.
Paul Roberts, managing partner, commented:
“We are delighted to have recruited Elizabeth. Tax plays an increasingly important role in all corporate and real estate work. We have been looking for some time to recruit a tax partner with particular expertise in the property sector and Elizabeth has just the experience that our clients need. Elizabeth will become an integral part of our real estate and corporate teams”.
Elizabeth’s experience includes work for major property companies, developers, funds and other corporate property vehicles. On the corporate side, Elizabeth has extensive experience of AIM and other private and listed company transactions. She is an expert on VAT, SDLT and capital allowances.
Elizabeth will also work closely with existing tax specialists at Forsters who advise landed estates, trustees and private clients on a range of personal and corporate tax issues.[/private]
