Ryan, a leading tax services firm in North America, with the largest transaction tax practice in the United States and Canada, has announced that [private]Stephen Heusinger has joined Ryan as Principal and CEO of Ryan Tax Credit Services (RTCS). RTCS is a Ryan subsidiary and strategic investment intermediary that will provide additional value to the Firm’s clients by originating, creating, and monetizing a broad offering of tax credit based investment products in the areas of renewable energy, historic rehabilitation, affordable housing, and new markets. Mr. Heusinger and his team bring years of experience in sourcing, structuring, and marketing tax-motivated investments for investors, project developers, buyers, and sellers of tax credit based products.
In an effort to encourage the private sector to provide a public benefit, government has implemented tax laws that provide a dollar-for-dollar reduction of corporate tax liability for investments in projects that might not occur without tax credit programs. RTCS focuses on the most profitable of those tax credit programs and then works to achieve substantial client benefits by facilitating tax credit transactions on their behalf.
“Ryan is recognized as the most innovative tax services firm in the industry, and our tax credit service offering perfectly aligns with that vision,” said Mr. Heusinger. “I look forward to helping our clients realize the benefits of tax credits to significantly increase their corporate cash flow and positively impact their earnings per share.”
“Our Firm continues to build a comprehensive suite of innovative tax services while attracting top industry professionals like Stephen Heusinger,” said G. Brint Ryan, CEO and Managing Principal of Ryan. “Our tax credit services will provide outstanding value and even greater profitability for our portfolio of premier global clients.”[/private]
