Nixon Peabody Strengthens Securitization and Structured Finance Team with new Tax Counsel
New York, NY. International law firm Nixon Peabody LLP continues the expansion of the firm’s Securitization and Structured Finance team with the arrival of [private]Sarah Nelson. who joins the firm as tax counsel in the Global Finance practice. Ms. Nelson will be based in the New York City office.
Ms. Nelson’s practice focuses on representing issuers, underwriters, and credit-enhancers as tax counsel with respect to structuring and documenting residential mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and commercial mortgage-backed securitizations. Ms. Nelson has represented lenders and borrowers, and advised distressed debt servicers, lenders, and trustees.
