Blank Rome hire tax partner in LA
Blank Rome LLP has announced that [private]Joseph M. Doloboff has joined the Firm’s Los Angeles office as a partner in the business tax group. Mr. Doloboff brings more than 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors, and extensive experience in cross-border planning for maximum tax efficiencies, as well as expertise in all facets of transactional planning. He specializes in working with clients in the healthcare, communications, high-technology, mining, retail and entertainment industries.

Mr. Doloboff joins Blank Rome from De Castro, West, Chodorow, Glickfeld & Nass, Inc., where he represented private equity funds, public corporations, private entities and high net-worth individuals. He focuses his practice on mergers, acquisitions and dispositions for corporations and partnerships; business transactions; federal, state and international tax planning and controversies; and partnership agreements. Mr. Doloboff is the former Deputy Tax Legislative Counsel for the U.S. Department of Treasury, and a frequent author and lecturer on tax issues.
Admitted to practice in California and Washington, D.C., Mr. Doloboff earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Board of Advisors for the BNA Series on Corporations, and a former adjunct professor at Loyola Law School.[/private]
