Colin Hargreaves is new global head of tax at Freshfields
International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed London tax partner Colin Hargreaves as the head of the firm’s global tax practice. Colin succeeds Stephan Eilers who was recently appointed Executive Partner in the firm’s new management team. Colin’s appointment is for a two year term and will take effect from January 2011.
Currently the head of the firm’s London tax group, Colin is a corporate tax lawyer with experience in the tax aspects of corporate finance transactions, banking and tax-based structured and asset finance. He has particular sector experience in the financial services, healthcare, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
