Weaver Promotes James Flatt to Partner-in-Charge of Tax and Strategic Business Services
Weaver, the largest independent certified public accounting firm in the US Southwest, has announced the promotion of James R. Flatt, CPA, to Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s Tax and Strategic Business Services effective June 1, 2011.
Flatt, who joined Weaver with the expansion into the Midland/Odessa market and the merger with Elms Faris, brings a long history of leadership experience to this position.

Flatt has more than 19 years of public and private accounting experience. His practice concentration is consulting and tax compliance for individuals, corporations and partnerships. He serves a variety of industries including oil and gas, state and federal taxation, export businesses, farm and ranching and manufacturing/wholesale distribution.
Flatt earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Abilene Christian University and is a member of Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
