New tax partner at EY Muscat

Ernst & Young has announced the appointment of two new Partners at the Muscat office. Ahmed Amor al Esry is now Partner, Tax Advisory Services and Sanjay Kawatra has been appointed as an Assurance Partner.

Ahmed is the first ever Omani national to be promoted to Partner at Ernst & Young Muscat. In addition to his responsibilities of leading the tax practice, Ahmed will also continue to hold the role of Oil & Gas Sector Leader at Ernst & Young Muscat. Ahmed has acquired significant experience in both the audit and tax. He has led audit teams and tax advisory assignments for a number of companies in different sectors, with a focus on oil and gas entities in Oman.
