Tax Controversy Specialist Kip Dellinger joins Cooper, Moss, Resnick, Klein & Co. as Senior Tax Partner
Cooper, Moss, Resnick, Klein & Co., LLP (CMRK) Managing Partner Leonard Klein today announced that tax controversy expert Kip Dellinger, CPA has joined the San Fernando Valley firm as Senior Tax Partner.
Mr. Dellinger is known as a specialist in the areas of CPA tax practice, regulatory discipline, and malpractice matters and is respected for his work as past chair of AICPA’s Tax Practice Responsibilities Committee (2008-2009). He has authored over 60 articles on technical and procedural topics for leading tax publications as well as the Entertainment Industry Creative Persons Tax Review for the CCH Client Relate/Pro FX software product. He is best known as the author of “The Practical Guide to Federal Tax Practice Standards” for the CCH Tax Practice and Procedure Library (CCH 2007).
As Senior Tax Partner, Mr. Dellinger will represent CMRK’s clients in tax controversy matters and estate and trust tax services providing an elevated level of service. An expert on conduct matters and substantive technical issues, Kip has been engaged by Big Four CPA firms on several tax shelter malpractice cases. As the author of the monthly “Policy & Practice” column for Tax Notes magazine and the “Ethics” column for TAXES magazine on conduct standards for tax professionals, Mr. Dellinger’s industry affiliations will assist the firm in its continued growth.
