Eleonora Briolini swoops into partnership at 2 Birds
Bird & Bird has announced the appointment of eleven new partners including one new tax partner.
Eleonora Briolini is head of the tax practice in Milan and has a strong focus on the automotive and energy sector. Among her clients are automotive suppliers as well as private equity investing in the energy sector but also manufacturers of luxury goods and retail companies.
Eleonora Briolini joined the Milan office of Bird & Bird in January 2012 as head of the tax practice.
Following business school, from 1998 to 2011 Eleonora was a member of Studio Tributario e Societario – in partnership with Deloitte where she engaged in the tax field covering both day by day consultancy and the most complex cases in domestic and cross-border situation. Her tax practice includes substantial cases of project financing, debt restructuring, acquisition and post-acquisition tax integration projects. She handles international tax planning as well as due diligence process and modeling activity.
Eleonora has been a frequent lecturer on continuing tax education programs for Wolters Kluwer, Il Sole 24 ore, Association of Chartered Account of Milan.
Eleonora graduated in 1997 cum laude in Economics at the University of Pescara and since 2002 she is an Italian chartered account and certified auditor – CPA. Her education includes several post-graduated courses: Tax Treaties part of LLM Program in International Tax Law – ITC Leiden (2011); master in “M&A: legal, tax and contractual practice” – SDA Bocconi (2005); master cum merit in Tax Law – Wolters Kluwer (2000).
She is a native Italian speaker and fluent in English and French.
