Tim Sherman will return to King & Wood Mallesons as a tax partner in the Sydney office
Tim Sherman re-joins King & Wood Mallesons on 1 July 2013 after a period at Baker & McKenzie and brings with him a wealth of experience across corporate and international tax advice including M&A, private equity, capital raisings, corporate restructuring and executive incentive arrangements.
Tim’s appointment follows the recent promotion of Darren McClafferty to partner in Melbourne. Together these appointments will complement the firm’s market leading Tax team, which is ranked Tier 1 in the 2013 Chambers Asia Pacific Directory, and further enhance a powerful offering for clients in this area.

Tim lectures at the University of Sydney and is a regular presenter and contributor to the Taxation Institute of Australia. He has been awarded the Commissioner’s prize for research into Australia’s tax treaties.
