Winckworth Sherwood lures Robin Dabydeen from Teacher Stern where he was head of tax
Law firm Winckworth Sherwood has strengthened its recently launched tax team with the appointment of partner Robin Dabydeen. He brings to the firm considerable expertise in the complex tax arrangements surrounding real estate joint ventures and fund structuring.
Robin joined the firm on Monday 28 April from Teacher Stern where he was a partner and head of its Tax team. He was previously head of Wedlake Bell’s Corporate Tax team.
He is widely recognised for his considerable expertise in direct and indirect tax issues in the real estate and corporate and commercial sectors. Robin has developed a particular expertise in the design and implementation of tax efficient real estate structures that cater for both property investment and development opportunities in the UK and overseas. He also has considerable experience in advising on the formation and running of UK and offshore investment fund structures and fund management arrangements.
Robin joins Simon Newsham who himself joined the firm in February this year and will jointly establish a dedicated tax practice at Winckworth Sherwood.
