Real estate tax partner, Clive Jones, to leave Eversheds and launch boutique firm in 2015

Legal Business reported yesterday that Clive Jones and William Naunton resigned from Eversheds in Jan 2014 with a view to launching their own real estate boutique in Jan 2015.

Naunton has been with Eversheds for 24 years and was Head of International Real Estate. Jones joined the firm in 2008 from Clifford Chance and was appointed London Head of Tax in 2011 (/2011/03/12/clive-jones-to-be-new-head-of-london-tax-at-eversheds/).

He recently advised Evans Randall Investment Management on the £452m acquisition of the Rhodium companies and the 5 Canada Square office building in Canary Wharf from RBS . He also advised Metrovacesa on its £240m acquisition of Walbrook Square, London from Legal & General.
