Grant Thornton promotes Ray Werth to Tax Partner in NY office

Grant Thornton has admitted Ray Werth, 42, as Tax partner in the firm’s New York office effective Aug. 1.

Werth joined the firm in 1999 and has nearly 15 years of tax experience with commercial and service companies. His technical knowledge includes corporate, partnership and s-corporation taxation, as well as extensive experience with ASC 740, accounting for income taxes and accounting for uncertainty in income taxes. He works extensively with manufacturing, cloud-based and professional service entities. He assists clients with ASC 740, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, tax optimization strategies for flow-through entities and foreign tax analysis.

Werth is a CPA in New York and New Jersey and a member of the AICPA and the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
