2 tax lawyers promoted at Latham & Watkins
Latham & Watkins has announced its annual promotions. These include a new tax partner and new tax counsel.
Adam L. Kestenbaum is based in the Washington DC office and is now a tax partner. He specializes in executive compensation and employee benefits matters and advises public and private companies, private equity sponsors and executives on all types of compensation arrangements and benefit plans, often in connection with M&A transactions and securities offerings. Kestenbaum works in a variety of industries with extensive experience advising oil and gas companies and master limited partnerships. He received his JD from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in 2006.
Maj Vaseghi is based in the Silicon Valley office and now holds the position of counsel within the Tax Department. Her practice focuses on benefits and compensation and company representation and she advises clients on securities law reporting and compliance, executive compensation matters, employee benefit plans and registration and corporate governance compliance. Having both law firm and in-house experience, Vaseghi has developed an expertise in public company representation. She received her JD from Columbia University School of Law in 2002.
