Former Grant Thornton tax duo, Bob Soza and Stephen Creed, launch new tax advisory service for Mariner Holdings
Mariner Holdings, an independent financial services firm and the parent company of Mariner Wealth Advisors and Montage Investments, has announced the launch of Mariner Consulting.
Mariner Consulting is a tax advisory affiliate that provides comprehensive compliance services, proactive, creative tax consulting and year-round tax planning for a wide range of clients.
Led by managing partners Robert (Bob) Soza, CPA, and Stephen Creed (pictured), CPA, and with offices in Leawood, Kansas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma, Mariner Consulting plans to expand to other markets where Mariner Holdings has a presence.
Bob Soza was a tax partner with Arthur Andersen in Tulsa, where he worked for 32 years. In 2009 he joined Grant Thornton as a tax partner and later retired from the Firm. Steve Creed also worked with Grant Thornton in Tulsa, where he was a director within the tax group.
According to Martin C.
