ATOZ promotes internally and makes up new partners

ATOZ, the Luxembourg has announced the promotion of three new Partners from 1 January 2015.

Hugues Henaff, Jérémie Schaeffer and Romain Tiffon joined the Partnership on 1 January 2015.

Jérémie noted, “Our clients are our number one focus and I am happy to be able to continue to work with them closely in my new role as Partner.” “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to become a steward of the next generation of ATOZ tax advisors” added Romain.

Hugues Henaff is a Partner in the International & Corporate Tax department of ATOZ. Hugues has a decade of experience in advising on tax matters for Multinational Corporations as well as Private Equity and Real Estate sectors. Hugues has a special interest in intellectual property regimes and tax law issues in sport. A member of the ALFI BEPS working group, Hugues holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Law from the University of Rennes.

Jérémie Schaeffer is a Partner in the Corporate Implementation services of ATOZ. With nine years of experience in complex corporate structuring, M&A transactions, and restructuring, Jérémie has advised some of the planet’s leading private equity and asset management firms. Jérémie also has extensive experience in the set-up and operation of both regulated and unregulated investment funds, intellectual property regimes venture capital and turnaround capital. Jérémie is a graduate of the University of Nancy II where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Law.

Romain Tiffon is a Partner in the International & Corporate Tax department of ATOZ. Romain has nine years of experience advising diverse clients: from institutional investors in the Private Equity and Real Estate sectors to multinational firms in telecommunications and oil & gas industries. Romain also handles advisory issues relating to structured finance, restructuring, and family offices. Holding a an LLB from the London School of Economics, a Master’s in Tax law from the Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris I) and a Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II), Romain was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2009 as an Attorney and Counselor-at-law.
