Devereux Chambers chuffed with new tax silk: Jolyon Maugham

 In Devereux Chambers

93 new Queen’s Counsel were announced today. These appointments are made by Her Majesty The Queen on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, Chris Grayling MP, following consideration by the independent Queen’s Counsel Selection Panel.

Devereux Chambers are rather chuffed that Jolyon Maugham’s reputation as excellent advocate in the higher courts was confirmed today.

Jolyon  has a predominantly litigation based practice in the fields of direct and indirect tax. He has particular expertise in ‘scheme’ transactions, intangible property, legitimate expectation, abuse of rights, film financing and employment taxation.

He also writes a very good blog which Tax Grotto would recommend to anyone interested: http://waitingfortax.com/
