Laurent Donnay de Casteau resigns from Loyens & Loeff to launch Brussels tax practice for Osborne Clarke

Osborne Clarke has hired Laurent Donnay de Casteau as a Partner in its Brussels office to launch its tax practice. Laurent joins from Loyens & Loeff.Laurent has more than 15 years of experience in all aspects of corporate and individual tax matters. Based on a strong practice with the Benelux countries, he advises Belgian and international clients on their operations including corporate structuring/restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, investment funds and treasury centres, high net worth individuals and expat issues.

He is particularly active in cross-border transactions involving France, Italy, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.

He is a member of the International Fiscal Association and has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2000. He is listed as a tax expert in Chambers&Partners (Global).

He is also lecturer at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP-Europe).
