Ray McCann resigns from Pinsent Masons to join New Quadrant Partners
New Quadrant Partners, the London private client boutique, has hired Ray McCann as a partner (with effect from 1 June).
Ray joins from Pinsents where he led the Private Wealth practice, with a personal focus on complex tax disputes and investigations.
His career started at HMRC and when he left in 2006 he had held a number of high profile investigation and policy roles. He resigned from HMRC to join PwC’s FS tax team and led the dispute resolution practice. In 2010 he joined McGrigors (now Pinsent Masons).
In his new role Ray will advise on all HMRC related matters especially in relation to investigations and disputes. He also advises private wealth and corporate clients on UK and international tax matters including residence and domicile. Ray is not a lawyer but he is CTA(Fellow) and council member of CIOT.
