Deloitte has announced its UK partner promotions for 2015. The following tax professionals have been made up:
Cath Ingham, Corporate Tax, Reading
Cath specialises in serving large multinational clients, in particular UK companies investing outward from the UK, addressing domestic as well as cross border tax issues. She joined the Firm in 2000, having graduated from Bristol University.
Chris Rix, Corporate Tax, Manchester
Hayley McKelvey, Global Employer Services, Employment Tax, London
Hayley specialises in global employment tax compliance, planning and consulting for multi-national businesses. Leads the delivery of large global employment tax risk management projects, including the implementation of technology assisted solutions.
Jo Pleasant, International Markets Group/UK Owned, Life Sciences
Lisa Alton, Global Employer Services, Financial Services
Matt Crocker, Global Employer Services, Financial Services, London
Matt also joined Deloitte from University and has been with the Firm since 1999. He specialises in employment and personal taxes, with a focus on M&A work.
Matt has a Law degree from Leicester University.
Peter White, VAT, North and Midlands, Financial Services
Peter is legacy Andersen, having joined the Firm in 1997. In 2001 he transferred to Deloitte and has specialised in indirect tax throughout this period. He is based in the Leeds office and attended York University.
Richard Beaumont, Real Estate Tax Group
Arran Taylor, Tax Management Consulting
Arran leads the Tax Management Consulting practice in Yorkshire and the North East. He has over 13 years’ experience in corporate and international tax, which he has spent working primarily with large UK and multinational groups with complex UK and global tax compliance and reporting requirements under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
Brendan Burgess, Transfer Pricing, North
Brendan leads the transfer pricing practice for Deloitte in the Northern region. He is based from the Manchester office.
Chris Hadfield, Private Capital, M&A
Chris sits in the Deloitte Restructuring Services Tax team which specialises in providing tax advice for financial restructuring processes (including refinancings, enforcements and insolvencies).
He has a long track record of advising creditors (often syndicates) on high profile transactions. However, his portfolio is now increasingly focussed on:
-Leading our Corporate Advisory tax offering which I established in 2012 to provide support to companies in financial difficulty; and
-Advising special situations investors who are looking to invest significant capital in the restructuring space.
Damon Ambrosini, US Corporate Tax Services, Financial Services
Damon is lead practitioner for hedge funds for the London based US tax practice. He has significant practice experience in private equity and all forms of alternative asset management including M&A, transactional support, compliance and reporting, financial instruments and operational tax. Damon joined Deloitte in 2004.
Dave Wright, Tax Management Consulting
Jo Ahmed, Global Employer Services, North, Mobility
Jo is leader of the Deloitte Mobility team for the North of England, specialising in advising business on all aspects of international employee mobility, including tax policy, process, compliance and consulting. She is a specialist advisor on Non Resident Director matters, and International Markets. She sits in the Manchester office.
John Weekes, GES, Social Security Consulting
Head of the International Social Security team within Deloitte, responsible for developing client relationships and business streams within this new practice area.
Mike Hooke, Private Client Services
Andy Robb, Global Employer Services
Andy is the EMEA Global Mobility Transformation Leader for Deloitte. He leads organisations through change programmes in order to align mobility, talent & rewards with the wider business objectives of the organisation.
Andy has been with the Firm since 1999.
