Baker Tilly appoints Stephen Hunter (ex KPMG) as Tax Partner in the North West
Baker Tilly has appointed Stephen Hunter as Tax Partner for the North-West region.
Stephen previously worked for KPMG for 20 years where he was Head of Tax for the Lancashire, Cumbria & Merseyside region.
In his new role, Stephen will focus on advising businesses and individuals on their tax affairs and supporting Baker Tilly’s growth in the Lancashire market. Stephen has experience in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, travel and leisure, retail and property.
Kevin Duffy, Baker Tilly’s Office Managing Partner for Preston said: ‘I am very excited about Stephen joining the Preston team. His experience of dealing with a wide-range of tax issues and knowledge of the local market will help us to further enhance our offering to new and existing clients and is a key element to Baker Tilly achieving its growth plans for the Preston office.
‘Baker Tilly opened its Preston Office in May last year and over the past 14 months has successfully embedded itself in the Lancashire marketplace.’
