PwC M&A Tax Director, John Buckun, joins Levenfeld Pearlstein as Tax Partner
Levenfeld Pearlstein has announced that John Buckun has joined the firm as a partner in its Tax Planning & Litigation Group. Prior to joining LP, Buckun worked as a director in the M&A and International Tax Services groups at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Buckun represents closely held companies, middle market clients, private equity funds, and multinational corporations in tax matters related to the formation, operation, and liquidation of joint ventures and in creating and implementing tax efficient structures for mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings and recapitalizations, and financing transactions. He focuses on advising inbound and outbound companies on tax matters related to international activity, and has extensive experience structuring cross border transactions, including tax efficient acquisition and holding company structures, repatriation planning, IP migration, and internal restructuring strategies.
