Emmanuel Sala joins Dentons’ tax team in Montreal
Dentons has announced the arrival of Emmanuel Sala as a partner in the Montréal office Tax group.
With more than 10 years of experience in taxation (with a focus on the renewable energy and natural resources sector) Emmanuel deals with mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and financing transactions of Canadian and foreign corporations. He also represents individuals and companies at all stages of tax disputes with government authorities, including audits, objections, representation before the courts, and negotiations with the legal departments of the Quebec Revenue Agency or the Department of Justice Canada.

In addition to his law degree and his master’s degree in taxation, Emmanuel obtained a bachelor’s degree in administration (finance) and is a chartered professional accountant (CPA, CGA). Prior to joining Dentons, Emmanuel was a partner at Lavery, de Billy. He trained with Deloitte and EY.
